Phoenix Flames Line Dancing is all about having fun, getting motivated and meeting new people. Whether you’ve never tried line dancing before or you are already a confident dancer, our classes are friendly, relaxed and suitable for all abilities.
Based in South Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, we currently run several classes each week in Chinnor, Watlington and Bledlow Ridge. There’s no need to bring a partner and you don’t need any previous dance experience. Just come along, have a go and enjoy yourself!
Our classes are easygoing and low-impact, with a mix of music and styles. We love the social side of line dancing just as much as the dancing itself so you can expect a friendly atmosphere, plenty of laughs and a chance to meet some great people. You don’t have to be super-fit or a brilliant dancer and you definitely don’t have to look like you’ve stepped out of a country and western film! Phoenix Flames is about making line dancing accessible, enjoyable and a bit different.
Each class teaches a selection of dances literally broken down step by step and taught at a pace everyone can follow. We repeat dances so that you have a chance to build your confidence and there is absolutely no pressure if you don’t get everything right straight away. In fact, getting the steps wrong and laughing about it is all part of the fun!
Classes are £8 per class (cash or card payments accepted) and beginners are always welcome. You can come on your own, with a friend or as part of a group. Whether you’re looking for a fun new hobby, a way to get more active, something social to do during the week or simply fancy trying something completely different, Phoenix Flames could be just what you are looking for.
As well as our regular weekly classes, Phoenix Flames is also available for private parties, celebrations, hen parties, corporate events and other occasions. We can bring the fun of line dancing to your event and create a session that is suitable to your group.
So if you fancy giving line dancing a go, come along and join us at Phoenix Flames. No special equipment, partner or previous experience needed - just come along, have a go and enjoy yourself!
